Hello, I’m David. I would be honoured to capture your wedding day in a way that feels as real and unique as your story deserves. My style is purely "documentary", it’s about being in the moment to capture the big, emotional highlights and the quiet, beautiful inbetweens that truly define your day.
Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember.
Ever since I picked up a hand-me-down camera at age five and took a picture of my Grandma in her garden, I knew I was hooked.
I was fortunate enough to take photography in secondary school, learning to develop film in a darkroom.
Even now, I can recall the distinct smell of those chemicals, and that first camera still sits on my shelf as a little reminder of where it all began.
My journey into wedding photography started when a close friend gave me the incredible opportunity to be her second shooter. For over four years, I honed my skills alongside her, absorbing every bit of experience across 60+ weddings.
That mentorship gave me the confidence to step out on my own.
I’m forever grateful for the trust that helped me discover my true calling.

I love seeing months of planning unfold into heartfelt vows, joyous celebrations, and unforgettable memories. I am passionate about capturing those authentic, once-in-a-lifetime moments just as they happened.
I believe photography should be more than just beautiful images; it’s about creating a relaxed, fun environment where you feel comfortable enough to let your personality shine. I keep things lighthearted and easygoing, but always professional, and as cliché as it sounds, allowing you to focus on celebrating your love.
With Scottish roots and a wandering spirit, I’ve been shaped by the many places I’ve called home.
I’ve lived all over the UK, from the warmth of the West Country to the Norfolk coast, and from Dorset’s charm to the fields of North Lincolnshire. Now, I’m proud to call East Yorkshire home, capturing love stories across Beverley, Bridlington, Driffield, and the stunning Yorkshire Wolds with its wide-open skies, historic villages, and unbeatable Yorkshire spirit are my canvas.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m likely strumming my guitar, at a live music concert, or unwinding with some PC games. However, my enduring, life-long passion is attending football matches to support Coventry City.
As a dedicated Sky Blues fan, I understand the value of passion, loyalty, and embracing the "highs" (and more often than not, the "lows"!) that come from true devotion, all traits I bring to capturing your wedding day.
